The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Human Capital Investment Project is a World Bank-funded initiative aimed at improving the availability, utilization, and quality of education services in selected districts. One of the project's key objectives is to increase access to elementary education services for all children, with a particular emphasis on girls. To achieve this objective, the project is focusing on the construction of additional classrooms. The project has aimed to construct 1400 Nos of additional classrooms, which will help address the issue of overcrowding in schools and provide more opportunities for students to receive quality education. The project aims to prioritize climate-resilient, environmentally friendly, and universally designed infrastructure where feasible, including the installation of solar power systems to promote energy efficiency.
